7 books in my to-read pile

Not just a hobby but reading is my obsession. I started reading when I was 4 years old. I enjoy reading because I like to explore the imaginative world of the authors.

I read at least 2 hours every day. At the end of every month I write a note with to read/buy book list for the next month. In this way I always have books in hand and shelf to read.

Books in my to-read pile have a mix of fiction and non-fiction, poetry and essays.

1.The Other Dimension by Amrita Pritam

2.Neglected Poems By Gulzar

3.And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini

4.To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

5.Life of Pi by Yann Martel

6.The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

7.Mansfield Park by Jane Austen

I am taking part in The Write Tribe Festival of Words 1st – 7th September 2013.

    Books to the ceiling,
    Books to the sky,
My pile of books is a mile high.
How I love them! How I need them!
I’ll have a long beard by the time I read them. 🙂

  2. Random Musings by Swati

Aha! the days when I had to read something before sleeping are long over with a hyper-active toddler, yet I find a way to read. So I read when I am travelling in a metro, car or any where and everywhere at a drop of hat., Currently I am reading whispers of the worms by Macardian. Will be posting its review as well

My list went on getting longer and longer and then I realised that I was not interested in reading those anymore and abandoned it all together. 🙂
Now my spiritual pursuits keep me busy and reading on those is a never ending task
