Whenever anyone asks me what was the best and the worst memories s in your life, the answer always zeroes down to the same place School – the best time of my life were spent in school.Β  Normally children hate school as they get all sorts of ailments and aches only on Monday’s when they have to go back to school after weekend holiday but I was bit abnormal. I just hated holidays and could not wait to go back to school.

It has been almost 15 years since I left the safe confines of my school to enter this competitive world where everyone is/was in hurry all the time. Β I still remember the first day in school. It’s usual tradition that kids cry a lot on getting separated from their parents but I was different. I really don’t remember crying. Those were some careless day. No worries. Learning alphabets and numbers was no big deal, although the best part was shouting our lungs out while telling the poetry rhymes, to volumes all tuned up. There are so many memories that bring back smiles and tears that this one post would not suffix.

I am taking part in The Write Tribe Festival of Words 8th – 14th December 2013 and the theme is memory/memories.

School days were the golden days of my life too. And as you said, when I was in school, I never thought it that way. Memories of childhood, friends, classrooms, teachers, notebooks, marked chapters, date sheets, canteen, annual days, farewell, and so on. The best phase of life. πŸ™‚

I disliked falling sick with this thought that I have to miss attending school…

Yes you are right, school days are the best, for me being the head girl of the school was the biggest achievement that time!

Same too with me. I loved school to the extent that it was difficult for Dad and Mom to stop me attending classes even when I was sick. Miss those days. Great post.
