Boy, I love coffee. Before entering the big bad world of midnight burning oil and setting up high academical goals for myself, I appreciated coffee but I didn’t love it. When I would have a cup of coffee, it would be filled with bitter powder with some sugar. But it was coffee who kept me kick and alive in making all my goals and dreams come true. Coffee is a form of art. Making coffee is just as enjoyable for me as drinking it. As much as I love getting a cup of coffee and enjoying some alone time with a book, getting coffee with a comrade is one of the greatest joys in life. Having a conversation with someone over coffee is something I relish. I never had any coffee conversations but this is something I would love if it happens in my life with someone who loves coffee as much as I love and has amazing intellect, intelligence and sense of humor. I like talking and sometimes I can dont even stop. And even though I enjoy talking, I also very much enjoy listening to others. So it makes sense that I love having conversations. but if I ask someone to go grab coffee and talk, it’s more meaningful. Coffee can be used to get through hard times, work through hard topics, or to just talk about everyday life. There are a million different things you can use a CC (coffee convo) for. I would encourage everyone to be intentional about being relational with others. Even though I’m partial to conversations over coffee, conversations over any other liquid or food can also be amazing. Regardless of the setting, going out of your normal schedule and having conversations with people is always worth it.

I write a lot, which keeps me off the streets and out of trouble. There is always something to write about, always a new story to craft. Not writing, for me, is like trying to hold back a sneeze. Learning to write was the most powerful influence in my life. I can still remember the awe I felt when I realized I could put real words onto paper and tell out a story. From that first ‘a-ha’ moment I knew I wanted to write.
