Sunday Featured Blogger #5

With the start of this month May, I am starting a new, weekly series, on my blog.  In it I am featuring 20 bloggers for 20 Sundays starting from today till September 2017.

The Blogger to be featured today is Zainab Raazi

Can you tell me a little about yourself and your blog – mentioning something known and unknown to the readers?

I’m Zainab, mom of twin boys and wife of one 😉 I’m a fitness enthusiast and you would know that if you are connected to me via my blog or twitter. I love to travel and am a TV buff, and I might have seen almost all the TV series (English)

Tell me about some of the people you’ve met while working on your blog or through blogging communities?

I have met some wonderful people via blogging and via twitter/ Instagram.

My oldest friend is Theresa (http://www.theresasmixednuts.com/-) and she really helped with the traffic of my blog back in 2013.

Then, I met you (Romilaa) back in 2015 and you helped me take my blog to another level altogether. Not, to forget how you pimped my blog looks from an ugly duckling to this lovely swan it is now.

I have to mention Tanvee, (http://lessonsnotesandquotes.blogspot.in) has helped with my diet and workouts and she lost around 40 kilos!

And, I continue to meet some great people via twitter.  Bushra (allaboutthewoman.com) Amrita (healtwealthbridge.com) have helped me a lot as well with my understanding of the blogosphere!

What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog? You can tell me about your usual day routine.

Seriously, I just used to spend time on blogging at Spark People, as I was looking for weight loss tips and, my kids were smaller then so a lot of time was consumed into parenting!

Everyone has a favourite/least favourite post. Tell me about your best and worst post and why?

I do not think I have any posts that I love as such – But I do like the posts of my AtoZ challenge.  I’m trying to be as good as I can. And, I do think there are a few posts, which are not too good. My rants…LOL

Name some of the bloggers – at least 3 of your favourites, whom you look up to and why?

Katie – runsforcookies.com – if it was not for her blog I would never be at a good weight, perhaps I would have ballooned up further.

Romila’s– Novemberschild.com- because your blog is so beautiful and complete.  It helps me to stay focused and hope to be at a good place in blogging some day.

Khushboo’s -Kthadani.com and Tanvee’s (http://lessonsnotesandquotes.blogspot.in)- the recipes, the workouts and the weight loss….all make me look up to both of them.

Tell me about your proudest achievement(s)? (Related to Blogging)

I took part in a story writing competition, and two of my stories won a prize!

If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest?

Be honest; do not write something just because it is true. It should be true to you. Social Media is a blessing in disguise. Make your twitter and instagram etc, if possible the same name as your blog. Choose a theme for your blog, travel, weight loss, cooking or random musings—but it should have a theme!

I am sure you know me as a blogger or your friend on social media or may be even as a person in real so how would you rate my writings and tell me your honest opinion on me – this would serve as a testimonial

Your writings are honest, and that’s why I think you get so many hits on your blog. You seem to know ‘something’ about ‘everything’ under the sun and, that’s a great thing according to me. It has been great knowing you, and would love to meet you in person some day!
