Sunday Featured Blogger #7

With the start of this month May, I am starting a new, weekly series, on my blog.  In it I am featuring 20 bloggers for 20 Sundays till September 2017.

The Blogger to be featured today is Kadambari Singh

Can you tell me a little about yourself and your blog – mentioning something known and unknown to the readers?

Hi, I am a marketer by profession and personally a student. I love intellectually stimulating talks and so consider myself a learner and read, listen and observe is my philosophy to move ahead. I have two major OCD

 – to change and improve every month, anyone who meets me after a while has to say I have changed and I mean more than the physical change.

-to plan and write things and a planner addict too.

And do I need to say I am lazy…but working on it.

I blog at www.thevibrantdiaries.blogspot.com and it’s my heart out there in print. It’s is something real something fiction, some dreams some reality.

Tell me about some of the people you’ve met while working on your blog or through blogging communities?

The biggest growth factor I found online is blogchatter community.  It taught me about social media dynamics, community factor, alexa and so much more.  Through this I have met some amazing inspiring people, never face to face but the support extended can never be considered less. Stephen from my 1st blogchatter blogbuddy group who taught me so many things from blog scheduling to writing topics and still helps in post ideas. I have made some friends in my city who blog as freelancers, professionals, from start ups and it’s enriching to meet them and learn new things. Best of all met Deepali Adhikary on blogchatter and part of same blogbuddy group and then on my city community and there we came to know that we are from the same place.

What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog? You can tell me about your usual day routine.

My day begins and ends with my office in between I ensure I walk for an hour, click some pictures and read a book along. And the only thing pinches me most is my blog is my heart but I care less about it than my work. The one tip I need most is how to work and consider my blog as my venture without getting lazy and taking it for granted.

Everyone has a favourite/least favourite post. Tell me about your best and worst post and why?

My best post is a story said in 4 parts…Those were the days.

And worst…too many bad posts and the worst will be my attempt at writing some fashion and how to mix up in my early days…and I don’t remember the post title.

Name some of the bloggers – at least 3 of your favourites, whom you look up to and why?

Tina – twinklingtina… She is a superwoman.. I actually don’t know how many hours she has in a day but she surely knows how to make each count.

Shijini – moderngypsy… Just love her love for art and her monthly letters. So much hard work on the blog.

Malini Agrawal – Miss Malini… She makes good money out of blogging something I thought to blog for when I was jobless.

Sandeep Atre – Sandeep Atre…. He writes about relationships, succinct and apt, he has a way with words and almost always hits the bull’s eye.

Tell me about your proudest achievement(s)? (Related to Blogging)

Completing AtoZ blogging challenge 2016, converting posts in an e book and the Alexa challenge 2016.  Been a lazy blogger 2016 was my first year attempting any challenges and being successful with these two out of 4 I tried.

If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest?

My suggestions would be –

– Take it seriously.

– Experiment with everything till you find your niche.

– You are nothing without a community.

I am sure you know me as a blogger or your friend on social media or may be even as a person in real so how would you rate my writings and tell me your honest opinion on me – this would serve as a testimonial (A new section on my blog where I would put these good words…or maybe the bad ones too)

You are the bold, upfront sensible blogger for me. Your writings are you but at the same time there’s a thin line which you maintain and never let anyone totally into your personal life. Your dedication to the blog and the planning and execution is what I am sold out on. I repeat,  please help me with your daily /weekly/monthly planning and implementation I really want to learn.
